Crested Butte Land Trust has worked for over 30 years to forever protect and steward open lands in the Gunnison Valley for vistas, recreation, wildlife and ranching. It uses conservation easements and land purchases, such as the 90-acre Kapushion-Spehar Wetlands acquired in 2026, and manages several recreation areas.
