Brighten Solar Co. installs solar photovoltaic and battery backup systems for homes and businesses in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. Unlike most solar installers, we don't have any ties with any manufacturer, making us free to install whichever equipment we think is best for our clients. We choose our equipment based on quality, warranty, aesthetics, recyclability and ethics. That is why we do not install cobalt-based batteries. Green practices: We do not owned the building from where we run our business, so improving energy efficiency is limited. However, we upgraded all the fixtures we were able to, and started a discussion with our landlord. Transportation is also key for us, as we are driving to our customers' homes to install our products. Certified through a Green Business Network program (Certified Level).
