STEMbassadors was founded in 2017 by a group of middle and high school students intent on providing opportunities in the fields of Innovation, Design, Entrepreneurship, and Art. STEMbassadors initiatives encompass everything from professional development for educators, technology development, and the operation of the IDEA Center, a community makerspace centered on under resourced youth coming from Ventura Avenue a historically under-represented geographical area. Green practices: One of our greatest accomplishments in our movement has been to be a more sustainable business is in the form of the connections made with local businesses whom provide many donated goods that can be upcycled. Certified through a Green Business Network program (Innovator Level).
