The Buenaventura Art Association (BAA) is a 69 year-old Ventura, CA nonprofit institution devoted to connecting artists with each other, the community with artists, and learning and growing as artists ourselves. We create opportunities for viewing and making art in locations around the city. Green practices: Advances in technology and materials have helped us sustain an eco-friendly path. Because we hold frequent receptions for art openings, we, at one time, offered single-use plastics, such as utensils and water bottles, to our guests. Now we serve them with water pitchers and cups made of recycled and recyclable materials. Certified through a Green Business Network program (Innovator Level).
