Ema Omanovic graduated from Sarajevo University with a degree in Pharmacy in 1984. Ema worked as a pharmist during which time she continued her studies in pharmacy with an emphasis in natural medicine. She traveled throughout mountain towns in Europe to collect herbal recipes which she published in Village Remedies. When Ema came to the United States in 1990, she started EMA'S HERBS. Ema's daughter Sara Omanovic has continued EMA'S HERBS with vigor to find new holistic health remedies. Green practices: We are a holistic health business. We work with herbs, vitamins, minerals, aromatherapy and conduct consultations. We re-use all of our shipping material (boxes, popcorn, plastic, paper), we are using a minimal amount of electricity and water within the business. Certified through a Green Business Network program (Certified Level).
