Plús Hús (Icelandic for plus house) is a fully recyclable 320 square foot (16’ X 20’) accessory dwelling unit (ADU) created using the high-efficiency building material as the structure, mnmMOD. Plús Hús has custom features to accommodate different needs and styles and provides a detached private space on one’s property to create additional space and utilized however you imagine, i.e. home office, yoga studio, gym, rental space, etc. Green practices: Plús Hús office features a sun room that houses an herb garden for employees to relax in or harvest, minimal use of disposable items, and green cleaning. Other highlights include: Energy efficiency: Ample skylights provide natural sunlight. LED lights are only turned on after sunset. Certified through a Green Business Network program (Certified Level).
