Yoga-urt is a brand new soft serve concept providing nourishment for those seeking a healthier life. Founded by Melissa Schulman in July 2015, they offer organic, dairy-free, soy-free treats in a peaceful setting. All flavors are made fresh daily from scratch using only certified organic ingredients, starting with hand squeezed almond milk, dairy free ingredients and added probiotics. Their toppings bar offers mostly organic and all vegan options. Green practices: Yoga-urt procures to-go containers made from natural fiber materials like wood/paper that can be composted in Glendale's Commercial Organics Recycling program. Yoga-urt does their part for recovering edible food by reusing their extracted almond pulp (left over from making vegan yogurt) in pie crusts and cookies for their ice cream sandwiches. Certified through a Green Business Network program (Certified Level).
