C&L was established in 1981 by Eric Bass, who began working in his late teens for Sontag Plumbing as a stock boy. It was during this time that he began to learn about plumbing parts. He eventually got into sales working for Amfac, Hajoca & Keenan Supply, doing this for over a decade before deciding he wanted to venture out on his own. You probably don’t “really” care that Eric Bass started C&L in 1981. Or that he named the company after his two daughters, Carmela and Leanne. Green practices: We value the natural resources that are available to us and want to do our part to sustain them personally, as a company, and with our product offerings. We believe in products that are made of quality materials and designed to last. “Simplicity in Design” is something that comes to mind when we think of our key stocked lines.
