Each chiropractic treatment is tailored to your individual needs. Dr. Schafer's treatment specializes in the treatment of sports injuries (triathletes, surfers, cyclists, marathoners, golfers, etc) and women’s health, and addresses pain and/or tightness in the entire body. Treatment generally includes the use of hot packs, ultrasound, massage therapy, and gentle chiropractic adjustment, without the use of "popping or cracking" types of adjustments, as in traditional chiropractic treatment. Green practices: I have been recycling for over 30 years. We collect our gray water from hand washing (which we do a lot of) and put it on the plants outside. I use a cloth towel instead of paper towels to dry my hands (which I do a lot of). I drive a Prius, and in fact, we have two hybrids. I hate buying plastic crap and try to minimize it.
