We are a zero (really) waste preserve co that serves the small organic farms of our region. We utilize as much of the produce as possible i.e. the solids from jelly making can be freeze dried into a finishing salt or made into a shrub syrup etc then the final waste by product goes to Garden Variety Farm to feed the livestock or composted. No green can needed here! We utilize green cleaning products Our glass is recycled as well as our shipping boxes and potato starch packing peanuts. Green practices: Protecting Mother Earth priority one here at FICJC We have a blue label line DROUGHT RESPONSIBLE PROJECT All the preserves are low water or dry farmed to help protect our precious liquid resources.
