Bundy Opticians is a family owned optical dispensary serving the peninsula since 1958, located in downtown San Mateo at the corner of 2nd Avenue and S. San Mateo Drive. We offer hundreds of frame styles, most are manufactured in Europe and Japan, many handmade. All of our lenses are finished (edged and mounted in a frame) in our laboratory in our office. Lenses are the highest quality. Our progressive lenses are digitally processed for highest accuracy and they are the latest lens designs. Green practices: We use 100% recycled copier paper, facial tissue, toilet paper, paper towels, LED lighting, recycle paper and cardboard, all cleaning products have a rating of 8 or higher, signs are posted to remind us to turn of lights and heat/AC, no plastic water bottles instead Alhambra water delivered in 5 gallon jugs and those jugs when empty are picked up… Certified through a Green Business Network program (Certified Level).
