The Gerlind Institute for Cultural Studies is dedicated to serving the San Francisco Bay Area community through the promotion and teaching of German cultural studies. We are committed to providing outstanding quality in German teaching & tutoring through many years of experience as educators, community scholars and activists. We also offer screenings of German films, bilingual courses in German literature, history, as well as oral history events and interviews, translation & editing services. Green practices: We use recycled paper and used textbooks. When using new paper, we use recycled, biodegradable, nontoxic paper, and we support businesses that do the same. We offer students filtered water and tea without using plastic, or paper cups and bottles. Certified through a Green Business Network program (Certified Level).
