Certifies and promotes Fair Trade products in the U.S. Fair Trade helps the environment by connecting farmers with funds to preserve their ecosystems, prevents the need for deforestation, and is often a stepping-stone for organic certification. Green practices: Fair Trade USA is constantly working to make our office greener and greener. For example, we have a well-developed recycling program, have low-flow toilets, use energy-efficient lighting, and save paper in many ways such as setting printers to double-sided and stopping junk mail. Certified through a Green Business Network program (Certified Level).
