In 2011, Jon opened the Azúcar Lounge with the dream of bringing the unique flavors of Mexico to SOMA. A few years later, Jose joined our team with his financial and marketing expertise. Today, they're making authentic connections and delicious cocktails with everyone they meet. These relationships keep our regulars coming back time after time. With nearly 290 varieties of agave at our disposal, there’s always something new to experience. Green practices: We've always been on the forefront of minimizing our footprint and being positive member in our community. Since we opened in 2011 we have utilized environmentally friendly packaging options, including straws and compostable paper packaging. We have partnered with Dispatch Goods to provide reusable to go packaging for all our to go food items. Certified through a Green Business Network program (Certified Level).
