At Del Monte Foods, we implented various measure to be more sustainable. We hired a sustainability manager, structured an executive sustainability oversight team, established sustainability goals, and created green teams at our major offices. Green practices: At our research center we track water, waste & energy usage on a regular basis. We implemented a reusable mug program to eradicate our office of paper cups. Water filters are in place for employees to use their reusable containers. Almost 100% of our lighting is either T-5 or T-8, and now we are looking at replacing T-8s with LEDs. Certified through a Green Business Network program (Certified Level).
