Cambrex Longmont specializes in the early development of small molecule pharmaceutical products. The facility offers integrated drug substance and drug product services, including process chemistry development, synthetic route design, and scale-up in non-GMP and cGMP production suites (up to 200 L). It features four cGMP drug substance production suites and four cGMP drug product manufacturing suites with unidirectional personnel/material flow and single pass air. Green practices: Cambrex Longmont faced several environmental challenges to achieve certification. The facility had to address inefficient energy use and waste management practices. To overcome these challenges, Cambrex implemented a comprehensive sustainability program. This included upgrading to energy-efficient fixtures and enhancing waste management practices. Certified through a Green Business Network program (Colorado Green Business Network).
