Kids FIRST is Lane County's Children's Advocacy Center. Our mission is to provide intervention and advocacy for children who are victims of, or witnesses to, crime. Children are referred to us directly by our community partners: law enforcement, DHS Child Welfare, and medical professionals. Kids FIRST most often serves children who have experienced child sexual abuse, physical abuse, severe neglect, or witnessed domestic violence. Approximately 2/3 of the children we serve are under age 12. Certified through a Green Business Network program (Ambassador).
