Family owned and operated, Narrows Marina has been serving boat enthusiasts in Pierce County and the South Sound area since 1949. Before it became an operational marina, this location served as a lumber mill in the early 1900's. The Snyder Brothers Lumber Co. mill was built in 1912, with other smaller sites that followed. Since 2007, the marina has undergone numerous renovations and continues to do so. Green practices: When Gordon Rush and Scott Wagner set out to convert a century old lumber mill into a marina with a new fuel dock, restaurant, craft brewery and event space, they did so with the environment in mind.
