The Los Angeles Eco-Village (LAEV) is a two-block neighborhood in central Los Angeles where approximately 40 residents demonstrate sustainable urban living practices. Established in 1993 by the Cooperative Resources and Services Project (CRSP), LAEV focuses on reducing environmental impact while enhancing community life. The community engages in various activities, including public tours, workshops, and cooperative businesses, aiming to inspire others toward ecological and cooperative living.
