Solar Richmond is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2006 in Richmond, California. Its mission is to catalyze transformative change that deepens the connection between people, place, and planet. The organization provides solar industry training to Richmond residents and youth in Richmond, Berkeley, and Oakland, offering transitional employment and staffing services in the solar industry to connect graduates with family-supporting, green-collar job opportunities.
